Single PointDressers

Within the comprehensive range of stationary diamond dressing tools, single point diamond dressers still take up an important position. An indusputable fact is that the single point diamond dressers are the most versatile dressing tools. If high surface finish is a critical issue, than it is hard to replace a high quality single point dresser with any other dressing tool available.

The classification of industrial diamonds requires extensive experience. We produce single point dressers in 7 different qualities. Based on the concentration of cracks an inclusions, the type of the diamond and useable points, our products are classified using to the following codes:

The right diamond weight

In grinding process, the weight of the diamond is determined using the outer diameter and width of the grinding wheel. The recommended diamond weight can be found using the diagram below.(For example: The recommended diamond weight for a grinding wheel having 500 mm diameter and 150 mm width is about 1. - 1.25 carats.)
 

Resetting

It is well-known the number of useable points increases with increasing quality of the diamond. Resetting the diamond renews the single point dresser and enables the customer to benefit maximum from the diamond on hand. In order for us to reset our customer's diamond, the user should avoid from using the dresser down to the steel holder
